Power-One Grid-Tie Inverters
Currently the second largest manufacturer of solar power inverters globally, Power-One’s Renewable Energy Solutions has seen remarkable growth in the past 12 months.
Aurora PVI-OUTD-US
Aurora grid-tie transformer-less inverters offer a unique combination of ultra-high efficiencies, installer-friendly designs, long service life, and competitive installed costs. Assembled in Ontario to meet the Provincial Content guidelines for MicroFIT, the PVI-5000 is the perfect MicroFIT inverter, rated at 5000W. Unique to this design are two independently tracked MPPT circuits. Now a single inverter can be used with solar arrays using different types of modules, multiple arrays on two roof slopes or sub-arrays with different number of modules in each string. East and West facing roofs can now be used without penalty. It works well with many string sizes with a DC input range of 140 to 530VDC, giving you lots of flexibility in system design.
With a peak efficiency of 97%, this is one of the most efficient inverters available in Canada. The outdoor rated enclosure and -25C temperature rating allows the inverter to be safely installed on trackers or fixed ground mounts.
The PVI-5000-OUTD, with its features and outstanding value, offers a significant increase in return on investment in solar-power installations. Full 10 year warranty and extended warranty of 15 and 20 years available.

Options
PVI-Desktop: Wireless inverter monitor displays inverter output inside your house. (seen below)
Aurora Communicator software simplifies monitoring via PC. Monitor tool for Aurora Inverters.
Aurora Easy Control data-logger is available for remote control via Internet, modem or GSM.
Aurora PVI Desktop
Power-One’s PVI-Desktop provides the ability to monitor performance of connected inverters and is ideal for residential and small commercial PV and wind applications.
In addition to wired connectivity (via RS-485), the PVI-Desktop system can also be connected to six targets inverters via a wireless RF transceiver link capable of connectivity anywhere within 960 feet (free field). The wireless communication requires an optional radio transceiver module to be installed in each inverter
The system can be linked to a personal computer via Bluetooth or USB connectivity, and will therefore allow performance monitoring at any location with online access. Energy harvesting data for up to six Aurora inverters can be monitored simultaneously using the PVI-Desktop
